Title: Creating A Folder In cPanel
Post by: Reba on February 16, 2020, 03:43:31 AM
At times it may be useful to know how to create a folder in cPanel, to house things like click images or backups of files you do not want overwritten during updates.

First go to the file manager in cPanel:

Now go to the root of your files (usually public_html):

For this example we will put a new folder in the images folder:

After selecting the images folder at the top click +Folder:

A popup will appear where you name your new folder and click create to save:

Your folder has now been created.

Go to any other folder and copy over an index.php page to your newly created folder.
